Los Angeles

When Television City opened its gates in 1952, it was the first purpose-built television studio in the world. For nearly 70 years, it has been home to some of the industry’s most beloved shows and stars.

The TVC 2050 plan will preserve Television City’s legacy and secure its future as a premier studio facility. Architect William Pereira’s original plan for the studio focused on flexibility and adaptability, calling for the eventual development of dozens of stages and several multi‐story office buildings. TVC 2050 realizes Pereira’s futuristic vision, allowing the studio to accommodate evolving technologies, sustainable infrastructure and enhanced community and production experiences.
